1:00 - 4:15 Session 3: LiDAR QA QC Methodology

Topic 1:  LiDAR QC and Accuracy Assessment using the Florida Permanent Reference Network (FSMS course). Topics covered include:  Definitions/Guidelines for Aerial Data Collection; General Aerial LiDAR, A SWFWMD Case Study – Lake Manatee.

Topic 2:  The SWFWMD LiDAR Specifications –  how SWFWMD developed their LiDAR Specification, similarities and differences with 3DEP (and why).

Topic 3:  The SWFWMD LiDAR QC Process – Review of the SWFWMD LiDAR QC Handbook and Manual, including several charts and diagrams to help illustrate processing.
